Online Fire Courses for Recertification Eligible for Training in Ohio

In the state of Ohio, FireRescue1 Academy courses can be used to meet Firefighter, Fire Safety Inspector or Instructor recertification or renewal requirements provided that the Fire Chief of the individual’s department or agency has approved them for continuing education.*

Each course successfully completed in FireRescue1 Academy generates a certificate of completion which can be used as a training record for individuals or users associated with a department account. System administrators can pull a complete report of all fire course records using the Reports feature in the learning management system for documentation as well.
